クモフネ合同会社(KUMOFUNE LLC) operates this site and decides what it stores. This page says what that is, in plain terms.
What the Tokyo Base Finder currently stores, factually:
- Your six Finder answers and the computed result, kept for 180 days. Once expired, they are deleted the next time that result link is opened; a link nobody ever revisits after expiring is not yet proactively swept, and answers are no longer used to prefill the Finder once expired.
- No account, email, or payment information — none is collected by the free Finder.
- An optional, anonymous “did this feel right” response if you use it.
- Standard page-visit analytics (no cross-site tracking cookies) to see which questions people leave the Finder on.
Why it is stored
Your answers produce the result and let you reopen it from the link. The page-visit analytics show which question people leave on, so the Finder can be made less tiring. Neither is used to build a profile of you, and result links are stripped out of the analytics before they leave your browser.
Who else handles it
The site runs on Vercel, which also provides the cookieless page-visit analytics, and results are stored in a Neon database hosted in Singapore. Both act as service providers to us. Opening a hotel link takes you to Trip.com, where their own privacy policy applies instead of this one.
What we never do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. And the free Finder never asks for your name, your email address, or payment details.
Your choices
The Finder works without anything that identifies you, so there is little about you here to correct. If you hold a result link and want it deleted before its 180 days are up, send us that link and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If what we store changes, this page changes with it, and the date above shows when it last did. Questions go to kumofune@gmail.com.
